  • Hair can be washed 2-3 days after the procedure;

2-3 days non-stop (dressing support) and up to 6 weeks at night;

Inevitable consequences always occur

Complications at the surgical site

  • the auricle is a place where hypertrophic scars and keloids occur;
  • recurrence of protrusion (requires another procedure);
  • exposure of internal sutures;
  • hematoma (accumulation of blood in the wound requiring surgical evacuation of blood);
  • infection (requires antibiotic administration);
  • prolonged wound healing (sometimes requiring further procedures to heal the wounds);
  • asymmetry is always present before the procedure (after the procedure it may decrease, but it may also intensify);
  • dissatisfaction with the aesthetic result of the procedure (subjective feeling);
