- For 2 weeks after surgery, please do not blow your nose.
- Return to work after 2 weeks (after this time, bruising and significant swelling usually disappear).

- After one week (necessary) – local condition check, suture removal, cast removal.
- After 2 weeks in some cases, usually repeat nose surgeries (necessary in case of cartilage graft from ears, temporal fascia graft) removal of sutures from behind the ears, from the temples (do not dye hair 1 month after suture removal from the temples).
- After 12 months (necessary) final evaluation of the surgery result.
- At any time, when needed.

Unavoidable consequences of surgery
- Pain/ discomfort;
- Bruising (usually disappears within 2 weeks of surgery);
- Swelling (significant swelling usually subsides within 2 weeks; ultimately, swelling resolves after 1 year);
- Temporary worsening of nasal patency due to swelling (mild runny nose) for even several weeks;
- Disturbances in nasal skin sensation (sensation usually slowly returns within 1 year);
- Temporary disturbances in smell – heightened or dulled;
- Scar/ Scarring (usually a barely visible external scar, internal scarring can be one of the reasons for surgical imperfections – minor irregularities, minor asymmetries);
8
Complications (may occur)
- Irregularities of the nasal framework palpable under the skin occur frequently, sometimes they are visible through the skin on the surface of the nose – this may require additional procedures (most often with hyaluronic acid, rarely repeat surgery);
- Excessive bleeding/ hematoma (rarely);
- Infection (rarely);
- Excessive scarring/ hypertrophic scar/ keloid (rarely);
- Worsening of nasal patency (rarely);
- Subjective poor assessment of the aesthetic outcome of the procedure, i.e., dissatisfaction with the surgical result; the surgical outcome is assessed subjectively, and therefore satisfaction with the surgical outcome cannot be guaranteed;
- It is not possible to predict the patient's psychological reaction to the occurrence of potential complications.
